No Surprises Act: Fair Rates & Transparent Pricing
Talking about money isn’t always fun, but we like to keep things clear and upfront so there are no surprises. At Beach Health PLLC, you’ll always know what to expect when it comes to the cost of your care because mental health should be a priority, not a guessing game. Below is our current fee schedule for patients paying via credit cards, HSA/FSA, or Stripe (we do not accept cash).
1. Your First Step: Initial Intake Appointment
Duration: 75–90 minutes
What Happens: We take a deep dive into your mental health history, current concerns, and goals to create a treatment plan that makes sense for you.
Fee: $450
Why It Matters: This is where we get to know you and set the foundation for your care. It’s required for all new patients.
2. Follow-Up Appointments
Once we’ve got a plan in place, follow-ups keep us on track. Depending on your needs, appointments can be as frequent as every two weeks or as spread out as every 90 days.
a. Quick & Easy: 15-Minute Refill Appointment
Duration: 15 minutes
Purpose: For medication refills when everything is smooth sailing and no adjustments or therapy are needed.
Fee: $150 per session
How Often? Usually every 90 days.
b. The Check-In: 20-60 Minute Adjustment/Therapy Appointment
This is the most common appointment for the majority of my patients.
Duration: 20, 40, or 60 minutes
Purpose: A balance of medication adjustments and therapy—shorter than a deep-dive session but still a meaningful check-in.
Fee: $200, $400, or $600 per session, respectively
How Often? Typically every 4–6 weeks while fine-tuning medications.
c. The Full Session: 60-Minute Therapy/Lifestyle Appointment
Duration: 60 minutes
Purpose: A deep-dive session focusing on therapy, lifestyle changes, and strategies for long-term well-being. Topics might include nutrition, sleep, stress management, and more.
Fee: $600 per session
How Often? Could be between every 2 weeks up to every 90 days—whatever works best for you.
3. Payment & Cancellation Policies
Payment: Due at the time of service. We accept credit cards, HSA/FSA, and Stripe payments.
Cancellation Notice: Need to cancel or reschedule? Just give us at least 48 hours' notice.
Late Cancellation Fee: If it’s last-minute (less than 48 hours), you’ll be charged half the cost of the scheduled appointment.
4. Insurance & Reimbursement
Superbill Option: If you’d like to submit your appointment for possible insurance reimbursement, we can provide a superbill upon request. (Just a heads-up—reimbursement depends on your insurance provider, and we are not an in-network provider.)
